Operations Schedule

FY 2007 (October 2006-September 2007)

• Ramp up power from 10 to 100 kW from October 2006 to April 2007
• Possibly extend monthly on/off into October 2007
• Provide 3500 hours of beam on target
• Conduct full-power Accelerator Readiness Review (ARR) in about April 2007
• Continue to ramp power beyond 100 kW following April 2007 ARR

FY 2006 (October 2005-September 2006)

• Goal of 800 beam-on-target hours
• Operate up to 10 kW
• Operating Schedule:

— Commissioning/accelerator physics (AP) studies until May 25, 2006
— Low-power operations/AP running from May 25 to May 31, 2006
— Shutdown in June 2006-Maintenance/Repair Program
— Low-power operations/AP running from July 1 through July 31, 2006
— Shutdown in August 2006-Maintenance/Repair Program
— Low-power operations/AP and Pre-FY 2007 run preparation in September 2006
— Preparation for power rampup

• Complete two pre-power rampup ARR action items
