XAL is an application framework for developing accelerator physics applications. It was developed here at SNS, and it is currently used at several other labs around the world, but without any active collaboration.
The main purpose is to develop an active collaboration among the several labs currently using XAL so we can develop a coordinated strategy for future development and pool our resources. Our collaborators have asked to have XAL training so they can better understand and get the most out of XAL. Our collaborators will share their experience with XAL and their current development efforts. Furthermore, I have invited several SNS staff who have expressed interest in XAL training.
The workshop will be located at 8600, Conference Room C250, 1 Bethel Valley RD, Oak Ridge National Lab, Oak Ridge, TN 37831
