Description of Research

My primary research interest is neutron and X-ray powder diffraction of condensed matter systems and materials for energy storage. Topics include battery materials, solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) materials, hydrogen storage materials, catalysis, and magnetic and structural properties of strongly correlated electron systems such as geometrically frustrated magnets, superconductors, etc.
