Measurement:

The energy degraders and Faraday Cups provide a method to determine the nominal rf phase and amplitude set points for the DTL linac. The Faraday Cups can also be used as beam stops and for current measurements.

 

Key specifications:

Peak beam current range:                 10 to 60 mA.

Beam pulse length:                          Up to 50 us.
