"The release of atom power has changed everything except our way of thinking . . . the solution to this problem lies in the heart of mankind. If only I had known, I should have become a watchmaker." A. Einstein
Welcome Exhibitors
We invite you to be an industrial exhibitor at PAC05. The conference will be held at the Knoxville Convention Center, a state-of-the-art facility in downtown Knoxville. Exhibitor booths will be directly adjacent to the meeting rooms, in the expansive corridors where the break and lounging areas are also located. These strategically positioned booth areas will enable you to maximize interaction with attendees and other exhibitors. The exhibition will take place from Monday to Wednesday, May 16 to 18. On-line registration will be available in February.
Historically, PAC is usually attended by more than 1200 people. Physicists, engineers, and technical staff interested in all facets of accelerator technology attend and discuss wide-ranging technical topics such as detectors, radio-frequency structures, vacuum, cryogenics, alignment, water, diagnostics, magnets, and civil construction. PAC05 will provide both a venue and an audience interested in you and your products.
We would also like to invite you to a reception hosted by the Knoxville/Oak Ridge community leaders and Economic Development Group on Monday evening, May 16. Details will be available soon.
On Saturday, May 21, there will be a tour of the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) site at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Vendors whose equipment is in use at SNS are invited to stand by their installed equipment during the tour to answer questions and describe their equipment. We will let you know well before the conference how many people will be participating in the tour.
