Microwave Amplifiers Ltd is a privately owned UK company founded in 1990 to address the fixed TV link market. The company grew and diversified in the mid 1990s to meet the requirements of the rapidly expanding Cellular communication and Satcom industries - the effect of this was a widening of the product range and the need to invest in emerging technologies and production techniques. The product range now extends from 100Mhz to 20Ghz with powers available up to 2Kw. Recent developments have enabled us to supply both CW and Pulsed units
up to 3Ghz with true Class A linearity and very low phase variation -
units with these characteristics have been supplied in quantity to research
facilities world-wide.
Amplifiers for the 1.3Ghz IOT driver requirements of future systems have
been supplied and used successfully in several facilities - these standard
production units are now available on short delivery timescales.
For Stochastic cooling requirements a range of wideband units is available
with very low phase and gain variation with frequency - these are complemented
