Strategic
Plan for the Federal R&D Program in Nanotechnology (Dec
2004)
The Nanoscale Science, Engineering, and Technology (NSET) Subcommittee of the
National Science and Technology Council's Committee on Technology has released
its 2004 Strategic Plan for the Federal R&D
program in nanotechnology. This report, which was developed with the support
of the National Nanotechnology Coordination Office, updates the original strategic
plan of the National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI) for the next 5 to 10 years
and contains the vision, goals and plans for specific activities by which the
goals will be accomplished by the 22 agencies participating in the NNI.
