Ms. White is a successful leader of accelerator control system groups and projects. She has extensive experience with large Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System (EPICS) based control systems and a variety of organizational approaches and project management tools applied in a scientific environment. Prior to joining the Spallation Neutron Source in 2007, she spent 18 years at Jefferson Lab in a variety of technical and leadership roles. Karen has served on many external advisory and review committees for other laboratories including ESS, APS-U, FRIB, LCLS-II, NSLS-II and LIGO. She active is leadership roles in the EPICS Collaboration and the International Conference on Accelerator and Large Experimental Physics Controls Systems (ICALEPCS).
