Electrical Power Conversion Group Leader

David E. Anderson received the BS degree in electrical engineering from Texas Tech University in 1988. Mr. Anderson has worked in industry, academia, and national laboratories developing pulsed power and modulator systems for a variety of applications, including inertial confinement fusion, X-ray radiography, high power microwave systems, and accelerators. Since 2000, he has been employed at the Spallation Neutron Source at Oak Ridge National Laboratory where he is currently the Electrical Power Conversion Group Leader, directing a team of dedicated researchers. Mr. Anderson has published numerous papers on pulsed power systems, modulators, high voltage technology and related applications.  He is a member of Eta Kappa Nu and Tau Beta Pi.
