Bio
Glen is the Section Head for the Operations, Integration, and Maintenance Section in the Research Accelerator Division. The section serves as the central hub for SNS operations and maintenance by providing safe and efficient SNS beam operations, planning for maintenance and outage periods, integrating cross-group improvement projects and upgrades, designing and fabricating instrument support systems at SNS/HFIR, as well as providing resources to execute and support electrical and mechanical field work across the SNS complex. Glen earned a PhD in Physics from Florida State University. He has worked at SNS since December 2010. Prior to coming to ORNL, he spent 14 years at the LANSCE accelerator facility at LANL in various roles including Accelerator Operations Group Leader.
