Mary R Odom

Bio

Mary Odom joined the Spallation Neutron Source in 2018 as Scientific Associate overseeing the operations of the Neutron Spin Echo (NSE) instrument.  She received a Ph.D. in Microbiology with an emphasis in virology and computational biology from the University Alabama Birmingham (2010).  Her prior experience includes research in immunology, computer network and sever administration, adjunct faculty member in Microbiology, and volunteer tour guide for ORNL and signature facilities of the Manhattan Project with the American Museum of Science and Energy.
