Lakeisha Walker

Bio

Mrs. Lakeisha Walker has 21 years in the process engineering field. Originally in BWXT Y-12’s Enriched Uranium Operations, then as a Scientific Associate within the Neutron Scattering Sciences Directorate of Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and now as Operations Support Generalist with Safety and Operations Support Division. Her knowledge includes technical understanding of mechanical equipment, motion control and analysis software, technical writing, waste management, work control, project management and lean six sigma.  Her position as a member of the MST Operations Team has placed her in direct contact with additive manufacturing R&D techniques and users. She has received her Project Management Professionals and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt credentials.  Mrs. Walker is involved in STEM education outreach.
