Bekki A Mills

Bio

Bekki Mills is the group lead for the high temperature sample environment group for the Spallation Neutron Source and the High Flux Isotope Reactor. She is responsible to providing high temperature sample environments for neutron scattering instruments and ushering the development of sample environments for enabling cross-cutting high temperature science. 

Bekki joined ORNL in the spring of 2007 as a sample environment technician at the SNS.  She served in this role in 2016 until she became part of the high temperature sample environment team for  SNS and HFIR, in 2018 Bekki became the team lead for the high temperature  team.  In 2020, the high temperature sample environment group was formed and Bekki transitioned into the group lead role.
