Employment Opportunities in Neutron Science
Postdoctoral and Postmaster Positions
Openings are available at www.ornl.gov/careers/. Positions are identified by ORNL research division; those in the Neutron Sciences Directorate are Biology and Soft Matter, Chemical and Engineering Materials, and Quantum Condensed Matter.
The Neutron Sciences Directorate also sponsors the Clifford G. Shull Fellowship, which was established in recognition of Shull’s pioneering work in neutron scattering. Fellowships are two-year appointments, renewable for a third. More about Shull fellowships.
Possibilities also exist for graduate students from selected institutions to pursue full-time thesis research at ORNL under the supervision of ORNL research staff. More information may be available from your university department's graduate coordinator, or inquire at email@example.com.
Additional information for postdoctoral, college, and high school students can be found here.
