Proposal Statistics
Most recent proposal call submission/award stats:the fall proposal call (2025-A) closed on August 28, 2024. In the 2025-A proposal call, HFIR received 264 beamtime requests and SNS received 544 beamtime requests. Award decisions will be announced by October 25, 2024.
The spring proposal call (2024-B) closed on February 28, 2024. In the 2024-B proposal call, HFIR received 271 beamtime requests; 143 were approved and 63 placed in Alternate status. SNS received 628 beamtime requests: 346 were approved and 120 placed in Alternate status. 53% of proposals submitted to HFIR were approved. 55% of proposals submitted to SNS were approved.
