The purpose of the Neutron Scattering Division (NSD) Sample Environment (SE) Steering Committee is to develop world leading programs providing state-of-the-art SE capabilities, advanced techniques and enable more sophisticated and challenging scientific experiments. The steering committee sets priorities and makes recommendations to the NSD Director on sample environment related activities. The steering committee represent the needs and desires of the neutron user community and create a forum in which to discuss issues from both a scientific and technical perspective.
